Organising a event, such as the Beach Rugby Netherlands at the Beach Stadium the Hague or in the winter at Sportcampus Zuiderpark, takes a great deal of work.
It is wise to find good partners and using their knowledge and experience.
NORTH SEA BEACH RUGBY IS ADVISED AND / OR SUPPORTED BY THE HAGUE TOPSPORT, EBRA AND RUGBY NETHERLANDS
Den Haag Topsport knows what it takes to organise an international sports event (such as the Beach Volleyball World Cup). The Hague has an excellent climate for top sport. Many facilities are offered to help each athlete achieve his or her ultimate goal, often through special programmes. Not only top sport but grassroots sports are also the focus of Den Haag Topsport. The organisation is the contact point with the municipality to make the tournament into a great success.
Within Europe there are other Beach Rugby (Beach Rugby Fives) Events. Partnership is sought to, in addition to sharing experiences and ideas, also exchange teams. North Sea Beach Rugby is a memer of the EBRA (European Beach Rugby Association).
The Dutch Rugby Association is the umbrella organisation for all rugby clubs in the Netherlands. North Sea Beach Rugby event is placed by the Dutch Rugby Association on the Dutch rugby tournament calendar. The federation Rugby Netherlands has a motivating and advising role regarding the tournament.
Curaçao Rugby Federation
North Sea Beach Rugby Academy is working closely with Rugby Curaçao. Through this partnership hopes North Sea Beach Rugby to further develop the sport Beach Fives Rugby and promote in the Netherlands and Curaçao. Curaçao is an official member of Rugby North America and a stepping stone to North and South America where onderBeach Fives Rugby is very popular. There are tournaments in Barbados, Cayman Islands, America played.
The Rugby Academy Southwest offers talented and motivated play-ers the opportunity to combine top sport and secondary education in The Hague. The bespoke programme gives talent the opportunity to play rugby at a top level. Many of these talents continue their rugby career abroad, such as in South Africa, France and England. Den Haag Topsport, NOC-NSF and the Dutch Rugby Association support this initiative.
The Rugby Academy Southwest invites all academies in the Netherlands, but also those from other countries to come and play at the North Sea Beach Rugby event. They also provide support inside the organisation with education for schools and during the event itself.
