Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of beach rugby! From enthusiastic youth teams to top international players—BeachRugby 2027 promises to offer something special for everyone. Whether you’re participating as a player, cheering as a fan, or just coming to enjoy the atmosphere—there’s something for everyone!
This year, there’s even more reason to be there. In addition to exciting matches, De Harde Leerschool will be performing, and there will be special Girls’ teams in action. For our youngest visitors and anyone who’d like to give it a go themselves: there are clinics where you can try your hand at beach rugby under the guidance of experienced coaches. A weekend you’ll never forget!

On Friday 18 June 2027, the beach is all about young people. In two sessions, schools from The Hague get an easy, playful introduction to beach rugby, beach soccer and beach volleyball. Organised by North Sea Beach Rugby, as part of the Haagse Sportzomer.
Check-in for the first session
Make sure you're at the tent half an hour before the start, so everything runs smoothly and the programme starts on time.
Clinic for schools
Beach rugby, beach soccer and beach volleyball all start at the same time. Groups rotate through this session across all three sports, getting to know each discipline under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Check-in for the second session
The same applies to the second session: check in at the tent half an hour beforehand.

A day full of new beach sports comes to a close. The beach is prepared for the tournament weekend of Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday 19 June 2027 promises to be a great day for anyone who loves beach rugby. Whether you're taking part as a player, watching as a supporter, or just here to enjoy the atmosphere — there's something for everyone! During the day you'll also get to meet the Dutch national team players heading to the Rugby Europe Championships.
Check-in for youth teams U8 - U10 and U12
Make sure you're on time at the main tent (TBM), so everything runs smoothly and matches start on time.
Check-in for senior men and women
Seniors check in at 09:30 at the main tent, an hour before the matches start.

Music and more, at a different location on Scheveningen beach, close to the Beach Stadion. More info to follow.
All afternoon long, it's a great place to relax at the North Sea Beach Rugby party tent, for both youth teams and seniors. No fixed time — just drop in whenever suits you!

The day of the Dutch Championship for Dutch teams promises to be a spectacular finale. Today everything is left on the sand — this is the day champions are made! This year the level is higher than ever, with international teams and top players from all over Europe taking the atmosphere to a whole new level.

The battle begins – youth matches incl. international top youth teams
Dutch talents go up against international top youth teams from across Europe. Only the best Dutch teams can call themselves champions — who will take the honour?

End of matches & award ceremony
The big moment! After a day full of competition, two titles are awarded: the North Sea Beach Rugby champion and the Dutch national champion, for both youth and senior teams. Only Dutch teams are eligible for the national title. Who's going home a champion?
A festive finale with music and drinks – close out the weekend together with the champions and enjoy an unforgettable weekend of beach rugby!
