EBRA (European Beach Rugby Association)
North Sea Beach Rugby is an official member of EBRA (European Beach Rugby Association). EBRA is the international governing body for Beach Fives Rugby and organizes, among other things, the spectacular European Beach Fives Rugby circuit. The final of this circuit is scheduled for Italy (Lignano). Prior to the final, there will be tournaments in England (Bournemouth), Portugal (Figueira), Spain (Barcelona) and France (Marseille) and obviously, the Netherlands (The Hague/Scheveningen) organised by North Sea Beach Rugby.
There are also tournaments that participate for the first time but have not yet been recognized as an EBRA member (aspiring member). These are Weymouth & Portland RFC Beach Rugby (UK), Sunny Cup Rugby (Ukraine), Sousse Beach Rugby (Tunisia) and Porto Beach Rugby (Portugal).
The mission of the European Beach Rugby Association and its members is to work together to promote Beach Fives Rugby in Europe. EBRA encourages international cooperation between its members and to thus develop Beach Fives Rugby in a coordinated and coherent manner.
The European Beach Rugby Association is based in Marseilles. The Board consists of among others Lionel Laugier (Chairman), Giancarlo Stocco and Rui Loureiro.
North Sea Beach Rugby is organized by Foundation North Sea Beach Rugby and is the official provider of Beach Fives rugby in the Netherlands!
